# Copying an Address

**To copy an address, double click it on the Main Balance Screen and press Ctrl + C or CMD + C**

**You can now paste this address anywhere you like, including to** [**shield**](https://terminalwallet-cli.gitbook.io/terminal-wallet/transactions/shielding-assets) **funds.**
